WORK SHOP OF PS IMBERAKURI MEMBERS ON 22 AUGUST 2010.

The workshop has been opened by the President of PS Imberakuri Mrs.MUKABUNANI Christine who first welcome the participants and the facilitators who had accorded that great importance to that workshop. She said that it is needed that the members of PS Imberakuri have to be trained more and more because many people misunderstand this party. She asked them to follow carefully so that after the workshop, everyone will be able to represent the party in constructive way because their vision is to criticize the government but in constructive and peaceful matters. Mrs. MUKABUNANI has added that the objective of PS Imberakuri is not to destroy the country so she demanded the Rwandese not to call these members the enemies of the country. In the same case, she said that everybody must know that this party is not the bridge of those who want to bring the war in Rwanda.
After that introduction, Mr. RUMANZI has started his topic of civic education. He explained the term “civic education “as the way of teaching the people to understand, to agree and to sympathize their own country. He said that Rwandese are Rwandese they are not of other country .That is why they must be proud of themselves, and feel comfortable of being in their country. He also talked about the values of Rwandese and explained some of them. In conclusion, he showed the importance of teaching and studying civic education during this time. It is in order to improve the capacity of the people to be able to choose the most important things which are in front and around them.
Mr. RUMANZI has stopped his topic at around 12hoo o’clock.
The second topic was the “environment”. The facilitator was Mr. JUMA NSANZIMANA who came from REMA. He explained how our environment is destroyed in different ways. He talked about people who burn the forests. And he also exposed how electronic materials are very dangerous to the environment. He called upon the whole population especially those who were present there that everyone is responsible of the protection of the environment. He explained the laws, regulations and obligations of the people in the protection of the environment. He said that in early years, the government did not consider the environment, but today there is a serious police for that issue.
He has closed at 13h30 thanking the audience for having participated actively during his teaching time.
At around 14h00, it was lunch time.
After lunch, the participants went back in the room to go ahead with the workshop.
The following topic was to review the statute of the party. Mrs. MUKABUNANI Christine has read thoroughly all the articles, when the audience was attentive following and listening to her.
She has promised that she will continue to help them to understand more the party so that no one will go beyond their statute.
Lastly, Mr. NIYITEGEKA Augustin has talked about the website of the party. He presented using the power point how to arrive at that website. He encouraged the participants to review the website as well as the statute which is included at it as often as possible.
The workshop has been ended at 15h30. It has been closed by the president Mrs. MUKABUNANI Christine. She thanked very much the members of PS Imberakuri for their lovely and sympathy attention to the workshop. She also thanked them for having participated well in last presidential elections.
She said that PS Imberakuri has already started preparing the coming elections which will take place recently. She wished them good journey and endless peace.
